The midnight wish

It was a monday and they were going to see the fireworks at exactly at 12 am. At the stroke of midnight, I made a wish as fireworks lit up the sky. It was just for fun… or so I thought, until I woke up and realised my wish had come true—but not in the way I expected! I was so shocked, it was like Santa had responded. But I asked for lots of dogs but instead, he gave me a bunch of screaming goats. I was not happy. But I just let it slide. Until I smelt something nasty. I thought it was poop but no. It was their mama goat. She smelt so bad that even flies around her died. I tried to kick them out before my parents arrived. I tried and tried but couldn’t. The house smelt so bad. I was about to cry. But then I thought of something smart. Getting food from the kitchen. I opened the cupboard but saw a little goat in there, munching all the food. I quickly got it out and then grabbed a can of beans. I opened it and then used the smell of the beans to catch the goat’s nose and then bring it outside. I did it with ezz but then had to clean the house. As I was cleaning the goat was trying to get back in. So then I got my broom and then tried to shoo them away. I was doing more and more until I face up. I was just waiting for my parents to come. So I waited and waited. I was like why are my parents not coming? But then she realized that her parents were just sleeping. She was frustrated. If she woke them up then they would not be happy. So she smacked the goat until they went away. Then they ran and never came back.

As we tore through the wrapping paper on Christmas morning, I didn’t expect my little brother to scream. Inside the box wasn’t just a gift—it was a mystery we had to solve before the day was over. They panicked not knowing what to do. But their dad was very smart at solving puzzles. He said this would be a piece of cake! A few hours passed but their dad still hadn’t solved the cube until mum spotted the instructions. On the instructions it said that you have to count how many lines were on each side of the cube. He looked at it and there were so many lines he couldn’t figure it out. They all lost hope but when the grandma came she asked if she could help but they said it’s impossible. They showed her the instructions to see if she could do it. But then she saw another writing that said to turn it you have to say abracadabru skibide bambo trippi tropolili kaboomamama fa! They all said it together and then bam it exploded. They all were happy. But there was a hole in their room. But then they saw a smaller cube. They had to solve a smaller problem: a rubix cube before dawn. It said on the note they had to finish it by dawn. As they were solving the cube they figured out the problem. They were doing the right moves, but they still couldn’t solve the cube. But then they realised there were some of the pieces on the cube that were turned the wrong way. They fixed it as soon as possible. They were so happy. They thought it was there last christmas but then they heard something say your times up. They all screamed but then the kid woke up and realised that it was all a dream.

Today I made a short story of a goat that smelt so stinky.It made the peace go away in seconds. It screamed like a girl screaming for its phone. Please leave a positive comment if you can.

 

 

Every summer, we visit Nan and Koro’s house in the country. It’s always peaceful, until this year. That’s when the neighbour’s goat escaped and decided to move in with us.The goat destroyed the peace in the house. Flies were surrounding the goat. The goat smelt bad and the grass turned brown. Nena was shocked. She walked to the neighbours and then said your smelly goat is in my backyard. But then she smelt something and she asked him “have you showered?” He responded “what is that?” She was shocked. Her face was disgusted. When she walked back she turned around and saw lots of flies surrounding him as well. The grandpa was just taking a little bit of photos of the goat until it screamed. The nena did not like the goat. But then once she saw it was harmless but just smelly she thought about keeping it. She told it to the others and the others agreed. So they showered it in a big red bucket. It was now clean so they let the goat in and then they were at peace once again. Until it pooped on the couch. So they taught him how to poo in the toilet. It took a few weeks to teach him or her. And then finally he went to the toilet and successfully did his stuff. They wanted to return the goat after because it kept screaming but then they suggested they would give it to a farmer.

In term 3, week 8 I did cross country. We were competing against our year. I was a year 6. That means I was competing against all the year six boys. On that day I was nervous because I didn’t have that much good stamina.While the others probably have better stamina than me. We did cross country because Cross country was hosted on our fields.Us year 6, we had to do it so we could stay fit. We were running 1.5 kilometers long.

Mr jackobson called us to come to the field. I was nervous because I didn’t know if I would win.But then I didn’t care. All that matters is trying your best.Attah said to me “wanna jog”. He said that 2 years ago in year 4.He tricked me that time. But I wasn’t going to listen to him. Mr Burt said “ On your marks get set go.I ran while attah right behind me. After that I started to jog. I was in the lead at the start.

 

 

I started to slow down for a bit but I didn’t. I kept running until we were on the field.Attah got pass.I tried to catch up. I was putting in a lot of effort to keep running. I stopped jogging for a long while then 2 of my opponents catched up. I was puffed out. I saw Attah still in front of me but not too far.I started jogging. I got past 1 of my opponents but not Attah and the other one. Attah got even further than us. I catched up but then walked for too long. I thought I was going to lose.

 

I was losing hope. I couldn’t stop walking.Until I saw attah.I started jogging but attah made it. He came first. I was happy for him. But I was going to come second. I used all my remaining energy to run the last 100 meters.I got past my opponent and then ran full speed because my other opponent was going to come second. I ran as fast as I could. On our last 15 meters I got past him and went past the finish line. I was very happy that I came second. I went to attah to go say well done. After the run my legs were cooked.

 

                                                                            Conclusion 

After the run I felt very proud of myself. I was happy. But I was ultra tired .My legs were tired. My supporters came and congratulated me and Samson. I was very proud of myself because I participated in cross country and I did my best.

Team 3 did the cup song.They did a beat called the cup song.They did it with ms scannlen,ms moala,miss worka and ms sio.
Team 4
How does the teacher feel.HThe music would change the song to see how they feel after they are done being a teacher.
Team 5
They did a quiz called Are you smarter than a teacher.They had to guess the song.

→Yesterday Pt England had an immersion assembly. We have an immersion assembly for the first day at school for term 4. All teams went to the hall for assembly. We went to the hall at 8:50am. The assembly is to welcome everyone back and for the teachers to do a performance showing what we will be learning about this term. The new focus of the term is Let the music be.

 

(Miss Shirley) “Ok!”
The first show was team 1.Team 1 did a creative show.Lets get into team 1!

(Miss hockly.) “It’s so boring.”

(Miss Shirley) “ I know it’s very boring.”

(Miss Shockley) “ I know what to do! Let’s make cheese scones!”

(Miss Cortez) “ Oh yea lets make cheese scones.

(Miss lai) “me and miss cortez will make them!”

(Miss lai) “ mix mix mix!”

(Miss Cortez) “ Now let’s add the cheese.”

(Miss lai) “ Now let’s put it in the oven.

Then every did a round of applause. Mr Burt was trying to communicate with his hands but we didn’t know what he meant.Until he whispered “ Team 2.” Let’s get into team 2.

 

Team 2 did what kind of music can change the way it looks like.They did miss Simmons running with a kind of a jungle song.They then did the same clip and then put another song on.Then they showed miss toleso went in a room that showed a pretend briefcase that had something shiny inside.she opened it and the shiny bang flashed her eyes.Then it cut out.They then did the same clip with a different song but a happy song.They then did miss simmons as a man and miss wilson they drinking coffee and then miss wilson asked did you put sugar in it?.He responded in yea.They looked at eachother then it cut out.The music was a terrifying song.But then they switched it up to a happy song.Tehy then did miss simons climbing a tree with a running song or like when your getting chased by a monster and the scary song or intense song pops up.It then showed miss squires chasing her.Then she tried to grab her then it cut out.They then did the same clip but with a different song.it then ended. We all clapped for them.Then it was team 3.

Team 3 did the cup song.They were making beats with cups.They did the cup song.They were doing different beats using the cup.They were passing the cups around. Then it was finished. We all clapped and now it was team 4.

 

How do you think a teacher feels? It did a song of them happily coming to school.But then when it got into teaching time with the kids they were not happy.They played a song saying tell me why?They were saying it to their reading group.They then had their break time.Then they went to go home.They were doing a song called im free.Then it ended. We all clapped.

 

 

Now it was team 5 turn.They performed it on the stage.They did are smarter than a teacher.They got 4 kids and 4 teachers. Guess what song it is like is that song french or italian.The kids were losing at first until they made a humongous catch up.The teacher got 1499 and the kids got 1500!!!

Then we were finished with the immersion assembly.
